OnePlus is working very hard to remove bugs and add new features to the recently launched OnePlus 8 Pro series mobile phones. Very recently, the OxygenOS 10.5.8 and 10.5.10 OTA updates have popped up for the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro, with the most extensive sets of changelogs that surely enhance the overall experience. In this article, we are going to discuss more about the newly released OnePlus 8 Pro OxygenOS 10.5.10 update which consists of a series of updates and features for its users to relish.
This update consists of a number of improvements like touch experience, power consumption performance, expanded screenshot user experience, pocket mode experience. The Android security patch has been updated to May 2020, the user now has the capability to delete the messages right away from the notification panel itself and whitelist the messages by defining a keyword.
As usual, the OnePlus 8 Pro OxygenOS 10.5.10 OTA update is initially available to a select number of users only, after confirmation that this update works smoothly and has no bugs, it will be rolled out to a larger population.

- Added the “Delete” button in the notification bar of incoming messages
- Added keyword whitelist option in SMS blocking settings, the messages with the specified keywords will not be blocked
Camera:
- Newly added H.265 HEVC codec to reduce video storage size seamlessly, capture and shoot more without compromising on quality
- Added auto ultra-wide-angle lens feature when shooting at close range to improve the picture quality of edges
- Optimized the click animation for camera shutter, boosting the smoothness of photo-taking experience
- Improved the shooting experience with camera and improved stability
Network:
- Network improvements for Europe Operators implemented (EU only)
- Improved the stability of communication
- Improved the performance and stability of Wi-Fi transfers
