Samsung has launched its new M series phone Samsung Galaxy M51 in India today, and its first sale starts at 18th Sep, 12 Noon onwards. For a limited period, there is an offer for HDFC credit and debit cardholders for INR 2000 cashback on both EMI and non-EMI transactions when they purchase the Samsung Galaxy M51 phone.
It has been launched in two variants in India:
- The 6GB RAM/ 128GB memory variant is priced at INR 24,999.
- The 8GB RAM/ 128GB memory variant is priced at INR 26,999.
Last year, Galaxy M series were among the first phones in the industry to launch with industry-leading 5000mAh and 6000mAh battery. Now Samsung has raised the bar even higher by launching M51 phone with 7000 mAh battery.

Processor and Memory: Smasung Galaxy M51 is powered by an octa-core 2.2 GHz 8nm architecture Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor with AI Game Booster technology, upto 8GB super-fast LPDDR4x RAM, 128GB internal memory expandable to 512GB via Micro SD card, which are sufficient to take care of heavy games and applications, as well as provide enough storage capabilities to sore music, videos, photos, documents and more.
Always On Display: This phone comes equipped with the Always On Display with thousands of clock faces to choose from Samsung’s own Store, a feat which the competitors of Samsung are still struggling to achieve. The Always On Display can also be altered to display the photo which the user has chosen or can choose from a large set of default clocks and designs present in the phone.
Also, Samsung gives a lot of options to customize its lock screen via a lot of in-built apps which rotate the lock screen wallpapers as per the user’s choice.
Display: M51 has a 6.7-inch sAMOLED Plus Infinity-O Display with 20: aspect ratio, 78960:1 contrast ratio, upto 110% NTSC color gamut for vivid colors which nsures an immersive viewing experience for its users.
Front Camera: The front camera comes with a 32MP lens with Sony IMX616 sensor and impressive features like smart selfie angle, 99 custom filters, Single Take – Multiple Outputs feature.
Rear Camera: The rear camera is a 64MP quad (64MP+12MP+5MP+5MP) lens system.

Samsung’s Single Take – Multiple Outputs feature is a master stroke indeed, explained below:
When the phone presses the Capture button, Samsung Galaxy M51 camera will record 10 seconds of video, which is then used by AI to produce 10 different outputs – 7 photos (filters, best moments, smart crop) and 3 videos (original video, hyper lapse, boomerang).
Connectivity and other features:
Weighing just 213 gm (in spite of huge 7000 mAh battery), M51 supports 4G/3G/2G network and Bluetooth v5, still has 3.5 mm headphone jack present, supports Reverse charging via USB Type-C to Type-C cable, 7000mAh battery with 25W fast charger that can charge it in less than 2 hours.
M51 also comes with a side fingerprint sensor, face unlock features to implement biometric security features for authentication purposes. It comes with Android 10 based One UI OS out of the box.
