Best Home Remedies You Must Try To Get Rid of Pimples

Acnes are deeply unfair and bothersome. I am saying this because I maintain a very hygienic skincare, consistently wash my face and gave up on dairy and sugar products. But, you know what I still get these stubborn pimples all over my face that refuses to go away.

Yes, I am, an acne-prone girl born with skin sensitivities and of course, hormonal fluctuations which eventually cause lots of breakouts. To stop the acne-causing bacteria, I tried many skincare products available in the market, but the results were not satisfying. So, I took care of my acne with natural home remedies, which are super easy and very effective over expensive acne treatments.

Here are some proven home remedies I used to flatten stubborn acne quickly and believe me popping ’em ain’t one….

1. Apple Cider Vinegar

It is my favourite because it is made by fermenting apple cider and has a strong ability to fight different kinds of bacteria. Apple cider vinegar has several organic acids which help to reduce the excess oil accumulates over the skin and build up of toxics. Mix a very small amount of apple cider vinegar (1 part) with 4 parts of water and apply this solution on the affected areas using a cotton bottle once you’ve cleaned the face. Rinse with clean water and pat dry. Try this best natural remedies for acne 1–2 times per day and you may see the appearance of scars reduced.

2. Turmeric & Honey – The Magic Ingredients

We all know turmeric is best recommended in ancient Ayurveda for its anti-inflammatory. It shrinks the pimples by reducing excess oil from the skin. And it works best when used in combination with honey which helps to ward off acne-causing bacteria using its anti-microbial properties. Get rid of bothersome pimples by applying 1⁄2 teaspoon of turmeric powder mixed well with 1 tablespoon of honey. Leave on for five minutes on your wet skin and rinse off with cold water.

3. Multani Mitti (Fuller’s earth) – The Saviour

Apply 1-and-1/2 tablespoons of multani mitti with rose water and leave on for 20 minutes. Let it dry completely and then, rinse off. You will be amazed by the after results. Multani mitti contains magnesium chloride, which prevents breakouts. It deep cleanser your skin by removing impurities and dirt particles from the skin that clog skin pores.

4. Mint and Neem – the traditional remedy

If you’re dealing with a pimple that has flared up, you must count on mint and neem. Both are great ways to cure red and painful breakouts. Mint leaves are a very rich source of vitamin A and vitamin C, which give you clear skin. On the other hand, neem leaves are highly effective to cure acne. Just grind mint and neem leaves together to make a paste using water. Apply the paste on the affected parts after cleaning it properly with water to get rid of pimples. Rinse your face without getting the paste dry excessively. For best results, apply fresh mint juice all over the face in the night and rinse your face in the morning. Another amazing way that can be used to cure acne is neem leaves paste. It is effective to remove pimples naturally and permanently. Just grind neem leaves to make a fine powder and mix this with some rose water. Apply that on your face, and rinse it off after 20 minutes to reveal clearer skin.

5. Tea Tree Oil.

Use this miracle oil to treat all kinds of breakouts: whiteheads, blackhead or cystic acne. Dab the tea tree oil over the affected area in the morning and at night on regular basis. Tea tree oil is well-known for its amazing anti-bacterial and anti-microbial. The oil comes with great soothing properties that promote instant relieve against the bothersome pain that comes with acne. For all those people who are born with sensitive skin, I strongly recommend diluting the tea tree oil with any soothing carrier oil such as coconut oil before you apply it to the affected areas.

6. Aloe Vera gel.

It is a great natural zit-drying miracle product to control skin breakouts. It has antibacterial and antifungal properties which are very effective to stop acne-causing bacteria, reduce the redness caused by it and heal inflammation like boils and cysts. Applying pure aloe vera generously to your face boosts the blood flow in your skin and prevents the effect of harmful bacteria. It comes with magnesium lactate which contributes a great role to alleviate the itching sensation caused by breakouts. For great results, you can always count on aloe vera and lemon juice face mask that will clean the clogged pores. Lime juice which is anti-bacterial helps to get rid of pimples. Mix pure aloe vera with 1/4 teaspoon of lemon juice and apply the mask across the affected skin. Vitamin C and citric acid present in lime juice brighten your skin. Leave the mixture for 5 to 10 minutes and then, rinse off.
