OnePlus 8T 5G phone launch: What we know so far from the community blog

This article talks about the features and specifications of the highly anticipated OnePlus 8T 5G phone launch on October 14 this year

OnePlus has announced that it will release the OnePlus 8T 5G phone on October 14. After introducing 90 Hz display with OnePlus 7T, OnePlus also launched 120 Hz display with the OnePlus 8 Pro back in April 2020 and continuing the same legacy to the flat 120 Hz display of the OnePlus 8T 5G.

Also, to utilise the potential of 120Hz refresh rate display, OnePlus team went ahead and incorporated almost 142 optimizations in the new OxygenOS 11 which is going to be available with OnePlus 8T 5G users first.

Along with the refresh rate of 120Hz, sampling rate of up to 240Hz, and reduced latency, the OnePlus 8T consumers will enjoy heavy graphic games with almost no lags and go through social media feeds, enjoy an immersive smooth display experience.

The panels of OnePlus 8T 5G will have a Just Noticeable Color Difference (JNCD) of around 0.3, 100% DCI-P3, and with that the upcoming OnePlus 8T 5G will be able to display more colors than ordinary display panels. This provides a richer, more immersive experience, and an overall A+ display rating from Display Mate along with FHD+ 2.5D flexible display and HDR10+ standard.

The OnePlus 8 Pro 5G’s flicker-detect sensor along with brightness adjustment scale of 8,192 levels, which is an equivalent of 8 times the average brightness level difference detectable to the human eye, E3 luminescent material and filter to reduce the potential harmful blue light, is a treat to its users who can now enjoy more screen time than before.

OnePlus 8T will come with twin battery configuration 4500 mAh battery and equipped with a Warp Charge 65 fast charging for super-fast charging while staying cool. And, of course, that goes without saying that the upcoming OnePlus 8T will run on Android 11 based OxygenOS 11.
