Samsung has recently launched the new variant of its Galaxy M31 phone in India and it is priced at INR 19,999 on its website. The latest Samsung Galaxy M31 8GB variant is paired with 128GB internal storage. But, it is not available for purchase yet, as the official page has a ‘Notify Me’ tag instead of a ‘Buy’ tag.
Samsung Galaxy M31 8GB RAM phone comes in blue and black colours, with a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED Infinity U display and Android 10 based One UI 2.0 out of the box. It has a powerful Exynos 9611 processor with 6GB RAM / 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB internal storage, with expandable memory support of up to 512 GB via external SD card. The phone also boasts of a monster 6000 mAh battery with 28 W fast charger and 3.5 mm audio jack for listening to songs videos etc. The phone supports 4G/3G/ 2G connectivity, Wi-Fi, USB tethering and has a USB type C port on it.
Samsung Galaxy M31 8GB variant comes with a quad rear camera system that consists of 64MP primary lens, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5MP depth sensor lens, and a 5MP macro camera. The front camera is a 32MP selfie camera. The phone’s safety features include a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, face unlock, pattern match and more.
Recently, Samsung has started to roll out Galaxy M31 update in India which is of approximately 550 MB in size. The update comes with firmware version M315FXXU1ATD5 and bumps up the Android security patch update to April 2020 version. The update consists of various system updates, bug fixes and performance improvements. Some time back, users had complained that their system was getting bricked due to a buggy update, fortunately, this time nobody seems to have faced this issue.
