<p>In our previously published article on &#8220;<a href="http://www.insightglimpse.com/windows-10-new-start-menu-and-control-center/"><strong>Windows 10 New Start Menu and Control Center Accidentally Released</strong></a>&#8221; we had already pointed this a while ago, about its development under closed curtains, but now not only Microsoft has revealed the <strong>Windows 10 New Start Menu UX Evolution</strong> but also asked the user&#8217;s opinion. </p>

<p>Microsoft took to Twitter and posted a small video clip on the official <a href="https://twitter.com/MicrosoftDesign"><strong>Microsoft Design Twitter account</strong></a> that highlights the Windows 10 New Start Menu UX Evolution as how it grew and evolved over time. The most interesting part from the user&#8217;s point of view is that Microsoft provides a view of the futuristic newly redesigned Start Menu which it is planning to release in the upcoming feature update for Windows 10.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed-twitter wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Created by the <a href="https://twitter.com/Windows?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@Windows</a> design team, this animated clip illustrates a sliver of the <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/UX?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#UX</a> evolution and modernization of the Windows experience. Let us know what you think in the comments below! <a href="https://t.co/s4SVXncLEo">pic.twitter.com/s4SVXncLEo</a></p>&mdash; Microsoft Design (@MicrosoftDesign) <a href="https://twitter.com/MicrosoftDesign/status/1247266574542745611?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">April 6, 2020</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p>The all new and improved New Start Menu definitely differs quite a lot from the older one by including changes to tiles such as the omission of titles for medium sized ones. Many user&#8217;s have expressed their opinion in the form of comments which seems to be positive so far. The user who disliked the Windows 10 Start Menu redesign hated the removal of text labels.</p>

<p>Earlier, the official sources confirmed that Windows 10 New Start Menu and Control Center has been designed for Microsoft’s new Windows Lite OS but one can easily assume that one day it will come to our desktops too. Again, being an internal built, Microsoft might completely redesign it or it might not even see the light of the day. According to&nbsp;<a href="https://www.windowscentral.com/hands-new-start-menu-windows-10-build-18947"><strong>WindowsCentral</strong></a>, Microsoft today accidentally revealed Windows 10 internal build (18947) for its 32-bit systems with a new Start Menu and Control Center UI in its Insider Program due to a glitch which was not even meant for testers too. </p>

<p>According to <a href="https://www.windowscentral.com/hands-new-start-menu-windows-10-build-18947">WindowsCentral</a>, Microsoft today accidentally revealed Windows 10 internal build (18947) for its 32-bit systems with a new Start Menu and Control Center UI in its Insider Program due to a glitch which was not even meant for testers too. </p>

<p>The official sources confirmed that Windows 10 New Start Menu and Control Center has been designed for Microsoft&#8217;s new Windows Lite OS but one can easily assume that one day it will come to our desktops too. Again, being an internal built, Microsoft might completely redesign it or it might not even see the light of the day. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image is-resized"><img decoding="async" src="http://www.insightglimpse.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Windows-10-new-start-menu-1.jpg" alt="Windows 10 New Start Menu Desktop View and Control Center has been accidentally released" class="wp-image-4925" width="551" height="365" srcset="https://www.insightglimpse.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Windows-10-new-start-menu-1.jpg 684w, https://www.insightglimpse.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Windows-10-new-start-menu-1-260x172.jpg 260w, https://www.insightglimpse.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Windows-10-new-start-menu-1-604x400.jpg 604w" sizes="(max-width: 551px) 100vw, 551px" /><figcaption>Image Credit: Google</figcaption></figure>

<p>The revamped search menu has a search bar both at the top and the bottom to search for apps and the internet. There is a list of suggested apps too, and the Live Tile feature (still present in stable builds of Windows 10 and previously present in Windows Mobile OS) is Absent.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image is-resized"><img decoding="async" src="http://www.insightglimpse.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Windows-10-new-start-menu-2.jpg" alt="This is the first look of how Windows 10 New Start Menu Tablet View " class="wp-image-4927" width="551" height="413" srcset="https://www.insightglimpse.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Windows-10-new-start-menu-2.jpg 680w, https://www.insightglimpse.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Windows-10-new-start-menu-2-260x195.jpg 260w, https://www.insightglimpse.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Windows-10-new-start-menu-2-533x400.jpg 533w" sizes="(max-width: 551px) 100vw, 551px" /><figcaption>Image Credit: Google</figcaption></figure>

<p>The sources on twitter also said that the internal built came with a GIF search tool within the emoji picker section. Also, there was a center-aligned Start menu in the tablet mode. One of the twitter users mentioned that the leaked build has a Control Center which is divided into two parts: Quick Actions which is an adjustable panel and Action Center which contains the notifications. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image"><img decoding="async" width="468" height="567" src="http://www.insightglimpse.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Windows-10-new-start-menu-3.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-4928" srcset="https://www.insightglimpse.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Windows-10-new-start-menu-3.jpg 468w, https://www.insightglimpse.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Windows-10-new-start-menu-3-206x250.jpg 206w, https://www.insightglimpse.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Windows-10-new-start-menu-3-330x400.jpg 330w" sizes="(max-width: 468px) 100vw, 468px" /><figcaption> New GIF search tool in Windows 10 </figcaption></figure>
