<p>Google has always been the torch bearer for innovative ideas, and the rollout of New Google Features 2021 for Android users is no surprise to us. Be it timely Android updates or security patches, Google already conquered more than 70 percent of the smartphone operating system (OS) market and making its presence felt in the smartphone segment as well.  </p>

<p><strong>Android password checkup:</strong> </p>



<p>Android password checkup feature is available to Android users with Android 9 and above. It is a common practice for users to save their passwords on a Google account, whenever users use a particular website for which the password was stored, autofill the steps and fill the user id and password with users permission. Going forward, autofill will check it against a list of known compromised passwords and if a match is found, the user will be alerted and advised to change their password/ credentials.</p>



<p><strong>Schedule send for Messages: </strong></p>



<p>With the Messages app, the users can now schedule to send their message on a particular date and time. This feature is very important and useful to people who forget the birthday and anniversary of their friends and family. They can now schedule to send the wishes in present time for an event in future.</p>



<p><strong>TalkBack:</strong> </p>



<p>TalkBack can be accessed by downloading or updating the Android Accessibility Suite via the Google Play Store. TalkBack feature on Android can be used to read notifications, apps and more loudly. Android users can control their device with new multi-finger gestures and explore reading controls, Braille keyboard and customizable menus.</p>

<p>Google has announced that in the coming month ie July 2020, the internet giant will amend the Misrepresentation policy to introduce the ‘Clickbait Ads’ policy. This policy covers advertising which uses sensationalist or clickbait text or imagery which intend to drive traffic to the Ad by forcing the viewer to take immediate action in order to understand the full context of the Ad. </p>



<p>The company has stated that with this policy launch the below will not be allowed: &#8221; Ads that use clickbait tactics or sensationalist text or imagery to drive traffic.</p>



<p>Examples (non-exhaustive): Ads that claim to reveal secrets, scandals or other sensationalist information about the product or service being advertised; ads which use clickbait messaging such as ‘‘Click here to find out”, “You won’t believe what happened” or phrases synonymous or similar to encourage the user to click on the Ad in order to understand the full context of the ad;  ads which use clearly altered zoomed in body parts, mugshots, or real life accident or disaster photos to promote a product or a service; or ads which use “before and after” images to promote significant alterations to the human body.</p>



<p>Ads that use negative life events such as death, accidents, illness, arrests or bankruptcy to induce fear, guilt or other strong negative emotions to pressure the viewer to take immediate action.Examples (non-exhaustive): Ads that pressure the user to purchase, subscribe to or stop consuming a product or service in order to avoid harm; ads which use depictions of severe distress, pain, fear or shock to promote a product or service.&#8221;</p>
