Samsung has recently announced in a press release that it will offer Samsung updates i.e. four OS upgrades and five years of security updates to its select Galaxy S series, Z series and A series smartphones, as well as tablets and smart watches.
This further strengthens Samsung’s promise to bring together the best possible experience to its customers along with new features in Android upgrades and peace of mind via regular security updates.
The list of qualified Galaxy devices with new Samsung updates – four OS upgrades of One UI and five years of security updates include:
- Galaxy S Series: Galaxy S22, S22+, S22 Ultra, S21, S21+, S21 Ultra, S21 FE and new S series phones
- Galaxy Z Series: Galaxy Z Fold3, Galaxy Z Flip3 and new Z series phones
- Galaxy A Series: new select A series phones
- Galaxy Tablets: Galaxy Tab S8, S8+, S8 Ultra and new Tab S series tablets
- Galaxy Watch: Galaxy Watch4, Galaxy Watch4 Classic and new Galaxy Watch series
Other phones and devices, which are NOT included in the above list are still eligible for two/ three OS upgrades and regular security updates too.
